Walk of hope 2014
Walk of hope - summer 2014.
Olivia Parton was 8 years old when she died of cancer after a 5 year long battle. A charity circular walk to the top of the Brown Clee was organised to raise enough money to send her brothers and parents on a holiday.
After the walk friends and family met at Abdon Village Hall for a barbeque, and inside the village hall were various stalls including a very successful cake stall. Outside the adults enjoyed the music from a live band whilst the children played on a bouncy castle.
The event was very well supported by local residents of Abdon village and surrounding area.
